FUNdraising at the Bronx Zoo

This day of fun and fellowship at the world-renowned Bronx Zoo is a fundraiser for camp, a special way to help meet our year-round expenses and have some fun with family and camp friends at the same time.

September 22, 2012 - Save the date for our next zoo walk.

2011 Zoo Walk Report
The early morning was beautiful. People registered and got busy with refreshments, face painting, and cup stacking while they waited for the start. Following Bean’s lighthearted instruction and a group photo, off they went on the two-mile route through the Bronx Zoo. Sixty-six participants enjoyed the brisk air, sunny skies, and wooded paths of the zoo. Camp friends like Bean, Calli, Hudson, Jay, Kiska, Lewie, Rory, Tigger, Wally, and Wren were on the trail encouraging walkers. More than 50 people assembled for the buffet barbecue lunch, which featured a great songfest by Bean, Kiska, and Rory! Our walkers collected 134 pledges raising a total of $10,585.
